PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication device capable of surely authenticating a user through a simple procedure. SOLUTION: The user of a portable telephone transmits the purchase contents of a purchased commodity or the like from a web (1). A web server assigns a unique key to that information (2). The key and the purchase contents are related to each other and recorded on a purchase contents list in a database (3). The web server transmits a command for generating confirmation mail having the unique key by the portable telephone on the web (4). The user transmits the generated confirmation mail as it is (5). The mail server extracts an electronic mail address and the unique key from the conf irmation mail (6). In a mail agent computer, when the existence of both the electronic mail address and the key on the correspondent list is judged, the user can purchase the target commodity (7). The user can easily enjoy shopping even without inputting an ID or password. |
