PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized optical connector having no limit in an optical fiber array. SOLUTION: The structure of a multi-fiber optical array ferrule is such that it has a first tip substrate in which plural first grooves are provided on one surface and in which optical fibers can be arranged in each of these first grooves, a second tip substrate in which plural second grooves are provided on one surface and in which optical fibers can be arranged in each of these second grooves, and a third tip substrate which is disposed between the first and the second substrate in the manner that each optical fiber arranged in the grooves are in contact with the third tip substrate and with either one of the first or the second tip substrate.
