PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display apparatus provided with a function for effectively preventing electrostatic destruction during manufacture. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display apparatus provided with an active matrix type image display part is characterized in being provided with a first short ring for short-circuiting each terminal of switching elements which constitute the image display part and second short ring for short-circuiting each terminal of the switching elements, positioned in an inner side of the first short ring, in an outer peripheral part of the liquid crystal display device.
