AREA CODE AUTOMATICALLY CONVERTING METHOD OF PHONE TERMINAL APPARATUS

PURPOSE: An area code automatically converting method of a phone terminal apparatus is provided to prevent users' confusion caused by changing and integrating an area code, facilitate a changing operation at the side of a service provider, and avoid users' dissatisfaction due to the changing and integrating area code by functionally implementing a device and method for automatically changing an old area code to a new area code. CONSTITUTION: A controller is in a standby state(401). When an old area code is inputted from a user(403), the controller reads an address of the old area code assigned in a memory unit(405). The controller calls new area code data and the address stored in the memory unit(407). The controller loads the stored address of the new area code(409) for the old area code. The controller displays the new area code.
