PURPOSE: A compressor of air conditioner for automobile is provided to provide comfortable environment in a car room by reducing variation of temperature of air discharged and to improve performance of the compressor by reducing frequency turning on/off the compressor. CONSTITUTION: A looping bypass passage(15) is connected to at least two of multiple cylinders(11). A solenoid valve(16) is installed on the bypass passage to turned on/off by an ECU receiving signal from a sensor detecting temperature of air. When the temperature of air reaches a certain value, the ECU turns on/off the solenoid valve so that part of refrigerant passes between the cylinders.
