SUBSTANCE: invention relates to general-purpose low-pressure centrifugal fans with one-side suction operating at pressures up to 1000 Pa, and it can be used for transfer of air at pressure losses in air conduits. Proposed centrifugal fan has scroll housing with inlet and outlet holes installed on bed frame together with electric motor on shaft of which impeller is fastened by means of hub. Impeller has front and rear disks and blades installed in between at equal pitch square to plane of rear disk. Front disk is made in form of flat ring. Loading edges of blades are installed at inner diameter of ring, and trailing edges, one outer diameter of ring square to its plane, being arranged on one axis passing through center of impeller. Width of front disk is made to size of blade section which is equal to 0.1 of impeller diameter. Radius of blade bend is calculated by formula: Rb= (D1/16)-1.
