SUBSTANCE: the innovation refers to cyclic edible collagen covers of 13-23 mm caliber and 0.035 mm wall thickness, not higher, which are manufactured by using ammonia treatment and coagulator spraying immediately after extrusion process. It, also, refers to subsequent known cyclization method and those to manufacture such collagen covers. The innovation in question enables to manufacture, industrially, edible collagen cyclic covers to be used as an alternative to sheep stringed intestines. At the same time, in comparison with sheep stringed intestines, cover-bearing sausages manufactured according to the above-mentioned innovation could be obtained at a constant weight and accurate geometric shape.
