DATA MINING METHOD CAPABLE OF INCREMENTAL-UPDATING FOR PATTERN CLASSIFICATION

PURPOSE: A data mining method capable of incremental-updating for pattern classification is provided to achieve incremental-updating and to reduce a time complexity. CONSTITUTION: If data are inputted through an interface, a contraction program module contracts this inputted data through horizontal contraction and vertical contraction, a rough set contraction technique, without a loss of information, while deleting redundant data and doubled data. Then a rule creation program module maps the contracted data to rules in a one-to-one ratio in the form of a rectangle using an enhanced fuzzy rectangular decomposition technique, and carries out mining for some rules having correlation.
