摘要 PURPOSE: A method for controlling the creep performance of a vehicle is provided to restrain the occurrence of the engine rpm hunting by advancing or retarding the igniting timing corresponding to the deviation between a real rpm and an average rpm. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling the creep performance of a vehicle comprises the steps of deciding the condition of creep by using the signals of an idle switch, an inhibit switch, a vehicle speed sensor, an engine rpm sensor, and a cooling water temperature sensor(40), calculating the deviation between a real rpm and an average rpm(41), setting up an ignition timing compensating value corresponding to the deviation value(42), comparing the real rpm to the average rpm if the ignition timing compensation value is lower than a limit value(45), advancing the ignition timing(46,47), and retarding the ignition timing if the real rpm is lower and higher than the average rpm and not the same(49,50).
