PURPOSE: A system and a method for diagnosing and controlling a car at a remote place are provided to prevent any accident due to the failure of the car, to ensure rapid after-sale service, and to prevent the robbery of the car. CONSTITUTION: The system for diagnosing and controlling a car at a remote place consists of a diagnosis/control part(10) for controlling the operation of the car according to a control input signal while continuously detecting the state of the car; and a management/control part(20) for continuously determining whether the car is in normal condition or not by receiving a signal about the state of the car transmitted from the diagnosis/control part, thus generating an error signal if any failure of the car is detected, and inputting the control input signal to the diagnosis/control part if the robbery of the car is detected.
