PURPOSE: A packing container with a gas exhaust function is provided to prevent the packing container from being inflated by the gas generated from any contents received in the container. CONSTITUTION: In the packing container(1) by overlapping two sheets capable of obstructing the permeation of moisture and air, and attaching the whole edges of the sheets by applying heat, a thread(3) is positioned between the front surface sheet and the rear surface sheet of the packing container so that it runs through the interior space of the packing container along a horizontal direction or a longitudinal direction thereof. Both ends(3a,3b) of the thread are exposed out of the packing container so as to exhaust gas with the ends being fitted between the attached both edges of the front surface sheet and the rear surface sheet of the packing container.
