PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new cell vaccine. SOLUTION: This cell vaccine consists mainly of dendritic cells obtained by culturing mononuclear cells, especially monocytes, derived from cord blood. The dendritic cells produced from human cord blood are different from those produced from marrow or peripheral blood, have stronger immunopotentiating action and are usable as a more effective cell vaccine.
