PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make thickness-detecting device highly accurate and reduce its cost, without having to use using the conventional supporting member for utilizing the principle of lever. SOLUTION: By constituting the thickness-detecting device, in such a way that a paper sheet is passed through the pressed part between a magnetic body roller 201 and a wheel-shaped magnetic body roller 202 which is arranged opposite to and in contact with the magnetic body roller 201 and in which a coil is wound on an axles part, the inductance of a magnetic path is changed, according to the thickness of the paper leaf body. |
