SOLUTION: The compost manufacturing equipment 1 has respective yards 2a to 2h, a pulverizing machine 3, rails 4, sprinklers 5, drain ditches 61, a waste water storage tank 62 and a storehouse 7. In this compost manufacturing equipment 1, raw materials R are pulverized by the pulverizing machine 3 and are processed to treatment materials P. The treatment materials P are successively fed from the yard 2a to 2b then to 2h as the fermentation progresses. When the treatment materials P are carried between the yards at this time, the treatment materials P are passed through the pulverizing machine 3. The treatment materials P are already the compost at around the time the fermentation ends within the yard 2h.
