PAINT AND PRINTING METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paint containing a water-miscible solvent, needing neither water removal from, nor degreasing nor air blow of a to-be-printed surface in making a dot-printing, capable of directly printing letters on a wet surface or O/W emulsion-stuck surface, and causing no dot destruction due to a blur, and to provide a printing method using the paint. SOLUTION: This paint contains 0.01-1 wt.% of an organosilicon compound of general formula (1): RmSiX4-m (wherein, R is a straight-chain or branched alkyl, part or the whole of the hydrogen atoms therein may be substituted by fluorine atom(s); X is a hydrolyzable group; and m is 1 or 2). This paint, when put to printing operation on a wet surface or O/W emulsion-stuck surface, causes no blur.
