For this, the object to be measured 17 comprises a chain of measuring regions 19 with a specific color density value formed as measuring tapes, extended along the width of the print medium 13 in the diagonal direction to the transfer direction of the print medium 13, and arranged linearly. It is possible to use the individual measuring regions 19 of another measuring tape 17 as the reference object 20.
