PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plinth block with a ventilation hole having high ventilatory volume and high ventilation efficiency. SOLUTION: This plinth block with a ventilation hole is laid on the upper end of the foundation so as to be interposed between the foundation and a building body constructed on the foundation and provided with a plinth block body 2 disposed along the longitudinal direction of the foundation and the ventilation hole 4 formed by penetrating through the plinth block body 2 in its width direction. The ventilation hole 4 is so formed as to enlarge towards its opening edge.
