PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-purity aluminum silicate even without using an ion exchange method by directly reacting a proton of a silicic acid with an amine to give a quaternary salt. SOLUTION: This method for producing an aluminum silicate is characterized by comprising an extraction process for adding an acid to an aqueous solution of a silicate to acidify the aqueous solution and extracting a formed silicic acid with an organic solvent and a condensation process for reacting the organic solvent having dissolved the extracted silicic acid with a fixed amount of an amine compound to obtain a formed amine compound salt of silicic acid.
