PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inexpensive sanitary ware for resource economization and weight reduction without deteriorating the productivity by reducing the amount of softening deformation when the green body is sintered. SOLUTION: This sanitary ware consists of a ware green body and a graze layer formed on the necessary part of the green body. The main component constituting the green body is 50-75 wt.% SiO2, 20-45 wt.% Al2O3 and 0.5 wt.% or more Na2O. The sum of at least one component selected from the group of Na2O, Li2O and K2O and at least one component selected from the group consisting of CaO, MgO, BaO and BeO is made to be 2-6 wt.%. The green body further contains at least one species selected from quartz, cristobalite, mullite and corundum as a crystal and the whole crystallized amount is made to account for 10-60 wt.% of the whole green body of 100.
