PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure finishing precision and reduce labor by mechanizing operation from decision of a bending position of a tatami facing of an edgeless tatami mat to finish of bending. SOLUTION: In this tatami bending machine for the edgeless tatami mat, the edgeless tatami mat is installed with a tatami facing A upward on a table 6 which is vertically ascendably and descendably and a rear surface of a tatami base B is bent to be convex by a base bending device 10 and the bending position of the tatami facing A is then set by a positioning plate 2, and a thereafter a tatami mat holding part 3 descends and lowers the tatami mat and the table 6, and during this process the tatami facing A is bent at the upper corner of the tatami mat by a bending plate 7. This tatami bending machine is further provided with a bending plate 8 bending the tatami facing at the lower corner of the tatami mat and a tatami facing side-pressing device 12 pressing the side surface of the tatami mat for improving bending precision.
