PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical label which is coated with a heat-sensitive adhesive in a pattern that sufficient adhesion to a container body is obtained and sink marks are is not created at the ends of a label substrate, and a container which is wrapped with the cylindrical label. SOLUTION: The cylindrical label is composed of a label substrate 6 which is a heat shrinking film and coated with a heat-sensitive adhesive 7 on its inside. The adhesive 7 is circumferentially coated on an opening end part of the label substrate 6. The heat-sensitive adhesive 7 is applied offsetting against the other in the direction of a cylindrical axis in a way that the heat-sensitive adhesive 7a on one plane 6a and the heat-sensitive adhesive 7b on the other plane 6b do not face each other when the label substrate is folded flat.
