The current disclosure presents a hinge assembly to pivotally interconnect a door to a trailer body. The hinge assembly has a mounting portion and a hinge portion. Mounting portion of the hinge plate is configured to allow the union to the door, while the hinge portion of the hinge plate defines an elongated aperture of closed passage at the opposite ends of the same. A ball-mould structure is situated in a non-rotating way inside the passage to form a ball-mould connection between the hinge plate and the pivot member, extending by the end along the hinge portion of the hinge plate. The ball-mould structure includes an integral lid formed with the same, and extending from the opposite ends of the passage.
