PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device having a diffuser easily settable in its case, by cutting down man-hours for manufacturing the diffuser. SOLUTION: In this airbag device 10, a cylindrical inflator 16 is stored in the bottom part of a case 12, an airbag 14 is folded up and stored in its upper part, and the flow of gas to be supplied to an airbag 14 is controlled by disposing a diffuser 18 so as to cover the peripheral surface of the inflator 16. The diffuser 18 is comprised of an acting surface part 18a having a gas blowing-off opening 34 and a fixed surface part 18b disposed on its both sides and fixed to the case 12, the fixed surface part 18b is caught in a gap between the peripheral surface of the inflator 16 inserted from the side surface of the case and the case 12, and a projecting part 36 is provided on the fixed surface part 18b so as not to be pulled out of this gap. A corrugated part having a corrugated cross section which can be engaged with a corrugated part 38 provided on the side wail of the case is suitable for this projecting part 36. |
