<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate supporting device provided with a mechanism for pulling a stopper for supporting restrictingly a center pillar into a lower inner side of an under carriage not to be interfered with a side guard, and having simple, very strong and easily attachable structure. SOLUTION: This device has left and right gates 8, 8 pivoted to a body 5', the center pillar 1 equipped between the gates 8, 8, pivoted to the body 5, and connected releasably to the gates 8, 8, the stopper 2 pivoted to the center pillat 1 and supporting restrictingly the center pillar 1 under a closed condition; a lock mechanism 4 for locking the stopper 2 releasably to the body 5 when the center pillar 1 is supported restrictedly by the stopper 2; and a link mechanism 3 including the first arm 13 connected to the stopper 2 and turned by turn of the stopper 2, and the second arm 14 connected to the first arm 13, pivoted to the body 5 via a fixed shaft 17 and turned by the turn of the first arm 13, and functioned to pull the stopper 2 gradually toward the lower side of the body 5 when the center pillar 1 is released.</p> |
