PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotational power transmission device equipped with a self-lock function comprising a rotational resistance means capable of preventing rotation of an output rotor in excess of the range of a rotational power transmitted from an input rotor, capable of realizing the same velocity ratio, a velocity-increasing ratio or a slightly velocity-decreasing ratio between the input and the output, and having durability and safety. SOLUTION: A toothed driving means is constituted by arranging plural teeth on both sides, so as not to be faced relatively in the height direction of the teeth, capable of transmitting the relative rotational power by the interlocking teeth moving the interlocking position sequentially, and is constituted so that interlocking between both teeth of a toothed driving means 10 and a toothed driving means 12 is used as at least one element of the rotational resistance means, and that the toothed driving means 12 is journaled relatively rotatably relative to a carrier 50 journaled rotatably, and that a rotor 30 connected to the toothed driving means 12 so as to be able to relatively transmit rotation is installed.
