PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door frame which can be assembled easily, can surely block the space between rooms, and can prevent accumulation of dust, etc. SOLUTION: The sliding door frame 1 is composed of a sill 2, a head jamb 3, and a pair of vertical frames 4 erected on both sides of the sill 2 and jamb 3 and is constituted to position a sliding door 5 in a slidable state. The sill 2 has guide grooves 21, notched step sections 22 formed on butt ends 20 at both ends, and flange sections 23 and inserting sections 24 at both end sections in the lengthwise direction. The sliding door frame 1 has a rebate 41 into which the end section 51 of the door 5 enters. In addition, a filling-up material 7 which fills up the end spaces 42 formed of the rebate 41 and the notched step sections 22 of the sill 2 is put in the spaces 42.
