PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission operating device capable of reducing the number of parts of a control cable concerning the transmission operating device devised to transmit lever operation of a shift lever part to a transmission by the control cable. SOLUTION: An outer part of the control cables 67, 68 has an outer casing, a sleeve provided on an end part on the shift lever part side and a connecting fitting to connect the outer easing and the sleeve to each other. Additionally, a mounting case 40 is provided on a support bracket 7, a cushion member 66 having roughly the same shape as the mounting case 40 is installed on a circumference of the connecting fitting of the outer part and the connecting fitting is mounted on the mounting case with the installed cushion member 66.
