PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dryer simplified the internal structure of a nozzle housing chamber for housing nozzles of both sides and making the vertical height thereof low. SOLUTION: This dryer comprises a nozzle housing chamber 12 where base material traveling channels R extending transversely are penetrated longitudinally, one nozzle group 14 and the other nozzle group 15 both housed in the nozzle housing chamber 12a so as to face on each other through sandwiching the channels R, one hot air circulator 21 for feeding hot air to the nozzle group 14, and the other hot air circulator 22 for feeding hot air to the other nozzle group 15; wherein either left or right outside of the nozzle housing chamber 12 is disposed with the hot air circulators 21 and 22 dividedly in the longitudinal direction, and both the hot air circulators 21 and 22 are so designed that blowers 23 and 26 are set apart from each other, heat exchangers 24 and 26 are set close to each other, one of the blowers 23 is of upward blowout type, while the other 26 is of downward blowout type, and air ducts 25 and 26 located respectively downstream of the heat exchangers 24 and 27 are set up so as to lie above and below each other.
