PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new oxazole compound suitable as an organic layer for an organic light emitting element. SOLUTION: This oxazole compound is represented by general formula [I] (X1, X2 and X3 are each an alkyl group, a substituted or nonsubstituted aralkyl group, a substituted or nonsubstituted vinyl group, a substituted or nonsubstituted aryl group, a substituted or nonsubstituted heterocyclic group or a substituted carbonyl group; X1, X2 and X3 may be the same or different and X2 and X3 may form a ring).
