PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed change control device capable of easily deciding whether or not some stage of speed change generates grating of gears in a synchronous meshing transmission gear wherein speed change is performed by an actuator. SOLUTION: In the synchronous meshing transmission gear provided with a synchronous meshing mechanism and achieving the speed change, it is characterized in that there is provided a deciding means for the grating of the gear which decides whether or not the grating of the gears generates in the synchronous meshing mechanism based on information for progress in gear shift indicative of progressing condition for the gear shift. The decided result for the grating of the gear is utilized for the control of the skipped gear shift and so on.
