PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly precisely predict the life of a toothed belt even when the life of the toothed belt is expired due to the composite actions of plural kinds of stresses. SOLUTION: A k1 calculating part 12a, k2 calculating part 12b, k3 calculating part 12c of an equivalent life calculating part 12 respectively calculate parameters k1, k2, and k3 related with a bending stress, a compression stress, and a share stress. An Nbij calculating part 12d, an Npij calculating part 12e, an Ntij calculating part 12f respectively calculate the equivalent life cycle numbers Nbij, Npij, and Ntij by using the parameters k1, k2, and k3. Then, a travelable cycle number calculating part 13 calculates the travelable cycle number N of a toothed belt by connecting the numbers Nbij, Npij, and Ntij of the equivalent life cycles according to the minor rule.
