PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a malfunction in folding a folding door. SOLUTION: A traveling tool 2 installed on an upper end face on the door end side of a door body 1a on the movable side is built to an upper rail 3 in a freely suspending and traveling manner. A support shaft 5 on the door end side of a door body lb on the fixed side is built rotatably to upper and lower rails 3 and 4. A pivotal-supporting connecting section 6 is projected from the rails 3 and 4 to one sides while the traveling tool 2 is made to travel on the upper rail 3 and the two door bodies 1a and 1b are constituted in a freely folding manner. The upper rail 3 is formed in an approximately inverted U-shaped cross section, in which a lower section is opened, while roller mount pieces 8 and 8 are extended approximately horizontally to the insides from the lower ends of opposed rail side walls 7 and 7. Wheel-falling preventive ribs 9 are extended upwards from the end sections of the roller mount pieces 8. The left-right rollers 10 and 10 for the traveling tool 2 are secured to the roller mount pieces 8 and 8 in a truncated manner in the folding door. A door- body floating preventive tool 11 is set up in the vicinity of the roller mount pieces 8 and 8 on the upper end face of the door body 1a on the movable side in the vicinity of the traveling tool 2.
