PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic foam used particularly for a thin-wall molding such as a housing of electrical appliances or the like, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The plastic foam is produced by subjecting a mixture of two or more resins incompatible with one another, in a state in which the resins undergo phase separation, to foaming by a foaming agent in such a manner that at least one of the resins is present in an unfoamed state and that the cells formed by the other resins mainly comprise closed cells not connecting to one another.
