PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower-cost storage container for preventing the generation of collision sounds themselves of the storage container, when vibrated. SOLUTION: This vehicular storage container, for example, a globe box 3 is closeably supported on an instrument panel 1 with an axis of rotation 23 as a center and mounted with a knob 13 in the state of being energized into an angular hole 15 made in a cover portion 5. The knob 13 has a pawl portion 45 to be locked to a striker 53 and a protrusion 47 opposed to the pawl portion 45, both formed on an extension portion 43 thereof. By rotating the knob 13 to hold the striker 53 between the pawl portion 45 and the protrusion 47, the globe box 3 can be surely held on the instrument panel 1.
