PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting base wherein an independent space is imparted to a plate-form mounting base which can simply show an ornament or a decorative article as it is, and the ornament or the decorative article can be displayed while being more beautifully produced and harmonizing with any interior, and the form is constituted of curved lines which are more natural, can be removed, and can be compactly housed. SOLUTION: A groove is provided on a base disk, and a synthetic resin plate is inserted to form a curved surface-shape back plate. In order to impart a decorative property to the back plate, two sheets of back plates of which the shapes are different, and of which the textures are different as well are joined, and a fastener is attached so that they may not be shifted. The two sheets of the back plates join to each other by curving, and can pinch and fix an article having a decorative property. The article can be stood by utilizing the back plates as well. By the constitution of curved lines and curved surfaces, this mounting base can harmonize with various kinds of interiors as well. Since the back plates can be freely removed, the mounting base can be compactly housed.
