PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To employ a material, whose principal material is paper such as a microflute corrugated fiberboard or the like, as the material of a book case and provide the book case equipped with an insertion lock mechanism capable of being easily retained by hooking and hardly removed. SOLUTION: An upper opening and closing panel 4a and a lower opening and closing panel 4b are connected foldably to one of the opposing rims of a substrate panel 1 and the upper opening and closing panel is provided at the tip end rim of the same with a projected piece 5 used as a holding knob upon the opening and closing operation of the case while a substantially U-shaped or V-shaped cut-in 6 is formed at the side of base of the projected piece, further, oblique ruled lines for folding 8a, 8b, extending toward the end rim so as to show a reversed chevron shape, are formed whereby an inserting piece 7 is provided at the base part side of the projected piece while an insertion hole 9, capable of inserting the inserting piece 7 thereinto, is formed at a position near the tip end of the lower opening and closing panel.
