PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential gear for a vehicle capable of preventing dislocation of a pinion shaft with a simple formation, assembling a ring gear without restriction by the pinion shaft, and keeping suitably interlocking between the ring gear and a driving pinion. SOLUTION: This differential gear for the vehicle 10 is formed by allowing upper and lower ends 34a, 34b of the pinion shaft 34 to penetrate a through hole 17, 17 of a differential case 11 in order to support the pinion 32, 33 inside the differential case 11. In the differential gear for the vehicle 10, the differential case 11 is divided into one case half body 12 and the other case half body 20, and the through hole 17, 17 for allowing the pinion shaft 34 to penetrate therein is formed in one case half body 12, and upper and lower dislocation prevention parts 26, 27 for preventing dislocation of the pinion shaft 34 inserted into the through hole 17, 17 are formed integrally with the other case half body 20.
