PURPOSE: A portable radio system for interlocking a cellular phone is provided to freely perform a communication irrespectively of a mutual distance of a portable radio and the cellular phone by performing a direct communication between the portable radio and the cellular phone located at a short distance and performing a communication using an Internet network between the portable radio and the cellular phone located at a long distance. CONSTITUTION: A portable radio(10) performs a wireless communication with an other portable radio and a charger(20) within a communication distance. The charger(20) repeats a communication between the portable radio(10) and a computer(30), and converts signals and data received from the portable radio(10) and transmits the converted signals and data to the computer(30), and converts signals and data received from the computer(30) into a wireless signal and transmits the wireless signal to the portable radio(10). The computer(30) connects to an Internet network(40) for providing an Internet phone service, pages a corresponding cellular phone connected to a wireless switch network(50) using the Internet phone service, and performs an Internet phone communication through the Internet network(40) and the wireless switch network(50). A cellular phone(70) connects to the wireless switch network(50) for receiving the wireless communication service provided through a base station(60). |
