PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning process that can certainly form spun yarn even when a fine count of spun yarn is produced from a fiber material of short length. SOLUTION: In the spinning process where the usual spinning operation is applied to the fiber bundle fed from the drafting machine in the spinning zone constituted with the hollow guide shaft in which the yarn path is formed in the shaft direction and a swirl flow-generating nozzle, the fiber bundle is fed as the core fiber is added thereto, when the spinning operation is started or the yarn is broken, and the spun yarn is discharged from the yarn exhaustion side of the spinning zone and the operation is switched to the usual spinning operation, after the yarn picked up operation is completed and the feed of the core yarn is stopped. |
