<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data recorder with a simple and compact structure. SOLUTION: In this driving recorder 6 (data recorder), when a control unit 5 of an automobile fails or has a breakdown, lighting of a warning lamp 18 is triggered, and detection signal data before then is stored in a data recording part 27 of the driving recorder 6. Thereby, the structure of the driving recorder 6 becomes simple and compact, and a production cost and a running cost thereof are reduced. When a filament break of the warning lamp 18 is checked after a start of the control unit 5, the detection signal data is not stored in the data recording part 27 even if the warning lamp 18 operates, to prevent the mistaken recording of the unnecessary data when the control unit 5 does not fail or have the breakdown.</p> |
