PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use at high shipping efficiency an automated storage and retrieval warehouse provided with a stacker crane capable of simultaneously transferring a plurality of cargoes. SOLUTION: When a plurality of storing parts successively adjacent in a successive direction at a storage shelf of the automated storage and retrieval warehouse are made as a pair of storing part groups, the storage shelf is controlled so that a part or the whole of the storage shelf may be an assembly of the storing part groups. By the control, only the same kind of cargoes are stored in the same storing part group and different kinds of cargoes are not stored.
