PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make use of manual operation while enjoying easy-to-use automatic mode. SOLUTION: The automatic mode and a manual mode are selectively set by an operation of a mode selection operating element 21. In the automatic mode, an electronic controlled unit 20 actuates parking braking units 11, 12 at parking of a vehicle thereby automatically applying braking force to right and left rear wheels RW1, RW2, and at starting of the vehicle, the braking force is automatically released. In the manual mode, applying and releasing of the braking force are carried out in accordance with an indication of a braking indication operation element 22. When the braking indication operation element 22 is operated at the automatic mode, functions of applying and releasing the braking force in accordance with the automatic mode are restricted until the operation of the braking indication operation element 22 is stored and the stored memory is released by a predetermined operating condition, thereby making applying and releasing of the braking force comply with the operation of the braking indication operation element 22. |
