PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle storage device which can reliably store to hold a self vehicle position information, immediately before breaking of a main power source without the need for a power source that can be normally supplied. SOLUTION: The device comprises self vehicle position detecting means 23, 25, 26, 30, 21, a stop deciding means 21a, which decides that a vehicle shifts from a traveling state to a stopping state by the movement speed of the vehicle, a non-volatile memory 24, which can erase and rewrite a written content and holds the content even if a power source is broken, and a writing control means 21b which writes the present position of the vehicle to the memory 24, based on deciding information of the deciding means 21a, only when the vehicle shifts to the stopping state. The device is formed so that the present position of the vehicle is stored to be held by the memory 24, when the main power source is cut off. |
