METHOD AND INSTRUMENT FOR MEASURING ELECTRON SPIN RESONANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and instrument for measuring electron spin resonance(ESR) by which an ESR which occurs in a large-sized sample can be measured. SOLUTION: In the method for measuring ESR, an ESR which occurs in a sample existing outside a resonator is measured by using the magnetic field component of an electromagnetic wave leaking out from the end of the resonator. The instrument for measuring ESR is constituted at least of the resonator which can give the magnetic field leaking out from its end to the sample on the outside of the resonator, and an electromagnet which can give a static magnetic field and a modulated magnetic field to the sample from the resonator side than a plane containing the end of the resonator.
