PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tightening tool which is lightweight, excellent in workability, simple in structure and manufactured at a low cost, a tightening tool for tightening or hanging a work using polyester fibers having the strength of inexpensive and high-tensile aramid fibers as a connection belt, and a tightening method thereof. SOLUTION: In this tightening tool, a plurality of through holes are cut in outer end faces of both side plates, and an end part of a roller bolt passing through internal and external rollers is tightened into these through holes to support the rollers, and in the tightening tool and the tightening method, the work in which the connection belt is wound up and bound around the internal and external rollers is tightened or hanged.
