PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding type carrying container which is constituted so as to be able to easily perform folding work of a container main body. SOLUTION: A container main body 11 of the folding type carrying container is provided with a bottom wall, long side walls 13 and short side walls 14, and is constituted so as to be able to fold by folding the both long side walls 13 over the upper surface of the bottom wall and the both short side walls 14 thereover. In the both end parts of the short side walls 14, control boards 41 which control outward rotation of the long side walls 13 and elastic deformable pressing pieces 44 which are pressed outward and inward of the container main body 11 are provided. In the inside parts of the pressing pieces 44, engaging projections 45 which control inward rotation of the long side walls 13 are provided. In connection parts of the control boards 41 with the long side walls 13, control projections 32 which control outward rotation of the short side walls 14, the second control projections 33, control projections 42 and engaging holes 43 are provided.
