PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic winder having a fluff binding device capable of stably exhibiting the fluff binding function of spun yarn. SOLUTION: In this automatic winder X having the fluff binding device 1 having a yarn passage 7 for passing the spun yarn Y and having a nozzle means 2 for twisting the spun yarn Y by a turning flow by injection of gas into the yarn passage 7, a tension control means is arranged for controlling tension of the spun yarn Y fed to the nozzle means 2 so as to become almost constant.
