SOLUTION: When the driver returns an accelerator pedal, a brake pedal is not stepped, and an absolute value|Gx*|of a target deceleration is more than a predetermined value Gx0*, a preliminary braking control flag FPB is set to carry out a preliminary braking. When a time in which a high pressure side value PHi of a detected measured value of the preliminary braking fluid pressure is more than a predetermined value PHi0 passes beyond a predetermined time CNTHi0, the preliminary braking control flag FFB is reset and a preliminary braking force is made to be zero. When a time in which a low pressure side value PL0 of the detected measured value of the preliminary braking fluid pressure is not more than a predetermined value PL00 passes beyond a predetermined time CLTL00, the preliminary braking fluid pressure (command value) PPB is set to be a maximum value PPBMAX.
