PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of grasping light loss characteristics in a wavelength band to be used by a simple method so that a wavelength multiple system can be economically constructed. SOLUTION: As for several optical fiber networks, a light loss is preliminarily measured in a wavelength band to be used in a wavelength multiple system and wavelength measured at the time of constructing the optical fiber networks or a wavelength band including this (S1), a neural network is allowed to learn the several measured data (S2), and the light loss of the wavelength measured at the time of constructing the arbitrarily installed and connected optical fiber networks is inputted to the neutral network after the learning (S3) so that the light loss in the wavelength band to be used in the wavelength multiple system can be estimated. |
