PURPOSE: An oil pan supplying lubricant to an engine is provided to cut down expenses by reducing assembling hours with simple structure, and to reduce manufacturing and assembling process by using as a discharge outlet of engine oil. CONSTITUTION: An engine comprises an oil pan(1) installed in the lower part of a cylinder block(2), and an oil pump(3) supplying oil to the engine by pumping oil from the oil pan. A thick part(5) is extended longitudinally in an inner wall of the oil pan, and an oil suction passage(6) is formed in the thick part. An upper opening(6a) of the oil suction passage is connected to a pump intake port(4), and a cover body(8) of an oil strainer(7) is installed in a lower opening(6b). Engine oil is streamed through the oil strainer with suction pressure in driving the oil pump, and supplied to the engine through the oil suction passage and the oil pump. Oil is discharged with separating an oil drain plug(9) in replacing engine oil. Assembling process is reduced with simple structure.
